London Motherhood Photographer | Behind the Glass Project: Motherhood in Isolation
A collaborative documentary photography project. Documenting motherhood in insolation during COVID 19 Lockdown in the UK.
Transitioning to motherhood can sometimes leave you feeling such a huge range of contrasting emotions. There is a journey you must go on to rediscover yourself and integrate your new identity. Sometimes its messy, deep and raw but in the end you’ll find a new, more courageous you.
When i am not living in lockdown you can find me juggling NHS Breastfeeding Support, Website Developing, Birth Photography/Doula Care and Motherhood. Most of which i am still currently doing virtually.
Thank you for your interest in participating in my collaborative documentary photography project Behind The Glass: Motherhood in Isolation. Unwitnessed moments of Pregnancy & Motherhood during lockdown. Captured through your groundfloor or other accesible window. ⠀

Motherhood at the best of times can feel incredibly lonely & even more so during social isolation. I want to take this period of extreme disconnect & replace it with a moment of connection, recognition & acknowledgement by making the unseen seen. A way to capture the moments of pregnancy and motherhood that are currently taking place outside of public view, and away from family and friends. Creating a moment of togetherness & connectedness.
